These electric telehandlers reduce noise with 0 emissions and 0 fuel consumption. Offering exceptional performance with ultra-compact dimensions designed to achieve a level of versatility and maneuverability never seen before in a telehandler.

The versatility of the eWorker allows it to be used in a multitude of different working environments and allows the use of a wide range of attachments including forks (different types), equipment for suspended loads such as lifting hooks, or fly jibs with hook or winch; sweeper buckets, and aerial work platforms.

Maximum load capacity of 5,511 lbs. with a maximum lift of 15’7”. Load capacity at maximum lift is 3,307 lbs. The no-flex boom has a maximum reach of 8’5” handling a maximum load of 1,984 lbs.

Power

The eWorker that can put in a full day’s (8 hours) work without recharging. It’s lower center of gravity and increased stability is gained by positioning the battery in the middle of the vehicle.

The telescopic boom operates from its own electric motor that is connected to a Load Sensing hydraulic pump. In order to optimize energy efficiency, an electronic control unit manages the rpm of the electric motor and the oil flow of the hydraulic distributor.

Transmission of eWorker is 100% electric and consists of a battery that directly powers the electric motors, to ensure generous and constant drive torque throughout the acceleration phase.

4WD models have two electric motors at the front: one for each wheel and an additional third electric motor at the rear side, positioned vertically and flanged on the rear axle. All these features combined guarantee excellent traction management without slipping.

Safety

For prevention against front tilt, the eWorker features an Anti-tilt system equipped with anti-tilt sensors integrated into the rear axle, ensuring maximum stability without compromising the machine performance.

It’s Boom consists of a double “C” profile in high-strength steel with it’s hydraulic hoses and electrical wires positioned inside the boom to protect against any possible impacts. L-shaped runner blocks consist of composite material to maximize efficiency and reduce impact of wear on the sliding surfaces.

The braking system consists of two wet disc brakes installed inside the front wheel reducer, and an electric- hydraulic negative parking brake, that can be manually or automatically operated. When the machines stops this mechanism engages. It disengages when the machine is started and the accelerator pedal is pressed. This system assists the operator during uphill starts, preventing unintentional movements and maintaining vehicle control.

Control Center

Designed for the operator, the cab sports automotive-style ergonomics while ensuring excellent protection for the operator. FOPS (Level II) and ROPS certified, the cab ensures unparalleled comfort and full visibility. Reverse shuttle is on the steering column and joystick.

The FOPS protection ensures maximum load visibility and offers a high level of protection for the operator in the event of accidental falling of objects or materials.

With the eWorker, Merlo has opened a new way of thinking and working in the world of industrial and agricultural lifting.
