Mack Trucks will continue to support programs that benefit truck drivers and veterans by sponsoring two American Trucking Associations (ATA) programs for 2025: Share the Road and Workforce Heroes. The company made the announcement in tandem with the ATA Management Conference and Exhibition (MC&E), Oct. 12-15, in Nashville.

Share the Road is an initiative that incorporates a Mack Anthem 70-inch Stand Up sleeper model to teach drivers of passenger cars and truck about sharing the road with larger, heavy-duty vehicles. In the program, professional drivers demonstrate critical safety aspects, such as stopping distances and blind spots. Specs of the Share the Road Mack Anthem include: a 13-liter Mack MP8 505C engine with 505 horsepower and 1,860 lb.-ft. of torque, as well as a 12-speed Mack mDRIVE automated manual transmission, Bendix Wingman Fusion collision mitigation system and Mack Road Stability Advantage by Bendix.

In the Workforce Heroes program, with its camouflage-wrapped Mack Anthem, ATA provides recruitment and training for veterans to join the trucking industry. Driven by Share the Road professionals, this vehicle makes appearances at schools, career fairs and military bases.

Specs for the Workforce Heroes Mack Anthem include: Mack MP8HE-415SE engine, providing 415 horsepower and 1,660 lb.-ft. of torque, also equipped with the Mack mDRIVE automated manual transmission. This feature allows drivers to focus on the road rather than gear shifting.

"We're not just moving freight; we're driving progress for safety and helping our veterans find meaningful careers in trucking once they leave service,"  said Jonathan Randall, president of Mack Trucks North America. "These sponsorships represent investments in safer roads for all and brighter futures for our veterans in the trucking industry."
