The TAD1381-1385VE (D13) 13-liter Stage V six-cylinder engine has a maximum output of 405 kW (551 hp) at 1,900 rpm and the TAD580-582VE (D5) 5-liter four-cylinder engine has a maximum output of 160 kW (218 hp) at 2,200 rpm.
- Air inlet throttle combined with the uncooled exhaust gas recirculation and electrical exhaust pressure governor deliver highly effective heat management of the engine
- Low heat rejection from the complete system means less cooling is required and lower than average exhaust temperatures
- Exhaust aftertreatment system (EATS) includes a diesel oxidation catalyst, diesel particulate filter, selective catalytic reduction and ammonia slip catalyst
- Passive regeneration during normal operation with no high-temperature regeneration
- Compact with hardware layout and electrical interfaces that are compatible with engines of earlier emissions legislation
- TAD880-884VE 8-liter Stage V engine now delivers a power output of 250 kW (340 hp), and increase of 15 kW (20 hp)
