Gehls' new compact excavator range features the Z17, Z27, Z35, Z45 and Z80 models with hydraulic systems designed to enhance engine performance.
- Yanmar engines: Tier 4 on Z17 and Tier 4 Interim on four other models
- Zero tailswing
- Longer, offset crawler tracks are short-pitched to reduce wear, fatigue and damage
- Angled crawler frame reduces soil buildup on undercarriage
- Two variable pumps and two gear pumps
- Combined oil flows redirect to where flow is needed
- Z27 and above have hydraulic quick coupler with universal-style coupler to work with a wide range of attachments
- Integrated boom light mounted under boom on all models
- High strength booms construction with single boom-pin design and thick side plates with internally routed hydraulics
- Heavy-duty cylinder guards
- ECO mode available on Z80 to reduce engine rpm by 10%
