BOMAG Unveils Electric Tandem Roller BW 120 AD e-5

The BW 120 AD e-5 is a light electric tandem roller for compaction and repair work in earthwork and asphalt construction. BOMAG's tandem roller with electric drive is just as powerful as its conventional counterpart, but the electrified tandem roller produces no fine dust pollution from exhaust gases and emits no CO2, protecting people and the environment during operation.

• Equipped with two electric motors: one for the travel system and steering and one for vibration. In travel-only mode, only one electric motor is required, significantly reducing energy consumption. 
• The permanently installed batteries can be charged with 230 or 400 V, providing charge flexibility and preventing theft.
