Seven years after establishing its first facility in North America, Steelwrist has opened its new headquarters in Newington, Conn., just a few minutes down the road from its original site. The new building will allow the company to grow, officials said.

Main takeaways include:

  • Steelwrist, a fast growing tiltrotator supplier in North America, inaugurated its new headquarters in Newington, Conn., on May 30.
  • With increased capacity and improved infrastructure, Steelwrist is positioned to continue expanding in the tiltrotator market.
  • The use of excavator tiltrotators has grown. In recent years, Steelwrist has experienced strong growth, with tiltrotator sales increasing at a high speed.
  • The inauguration event was attended by U.S. Sen. Richard Blumenthal (D-Conn.), executives from the Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM), dealers, customers, and the complete Steelwrist team in North America. Blumenthal, along with Steelwrist CEO Stefan Stockhaus, conducted the official ribbon-cutting ceremony.
  • Steelwrist entered the North American market at CONEXPO-CON/AGG in 2017 and established its first location in Berlin, Conn. The new headquarters in Newington, just five minutes from the original site, is more than five times larger.
