Toyota focused on value with pricing on its redesigned 2014 Tundra full-size pickup truck, holding 2013 pricing on the volume-leading SR5 model with 5.7-liter V8, while adding $650 worth of standard equipment. The MSRPs of Limited CrewMax 4x4 models is reduced $2,000.
Overall, 2014 Tundra prices are down by 0.7 percent, or $263, from 2013 pricing.
Platinum and 1794 Edition premium grade MSRPs are reduced by $850 from equivalent 2013 models. The Platinum and 1794 have the same MSRP, allowing consumers to choose the style they prefer.
Toyota devised a new five-grade strategy for the 2014 Tundra, consisting of the SR work truck, volume-leading SR5, upgraded Limited, and two premium grades: "Platinum" for the sophisticates and the all-new "1794 Edition" for cowboys.
Tundra is offered in three cab styles -- two-door Regular Cab, four-door Double Cab and four-door CrewMax -- all available with 4x2 and 4x4 undercarriages.
The base MSRP for the 2014 Tundra will range from $25,920 for the SR grade 4x2 Regular Cab, 4.0-liter V6 to $47,320 for the Platinum and 1794 Edition CrewMax 4x4 grades equipped with a 5.7-liter V8.
