Hitachi Global Air Power US, LLC recently announced its newly appointed President and CEO, Hideki Fujimoto, effective April 1, succeeding John Randall, who has been promoted to president and CEO of Hitachi Industrial Equipment Systems Co., Ltd. (HIES). Hitachi Global Air Power is a part of HIES.

At the moment, Fujimoto is the deputy group executive of the global air power sector at HIES. Fujimoto is skilled in engineering and leadership and has been an asset in developing the company's new product development program. To take on his new role in the next few months, Fujimoto will be relocating from Tokyo, Japan to Michigan City, Ind.

Hitachi Global Air Power has been undergoing a significant transformation, and I’m excited to return to the United States and build on the momentum John Randall and the team have created,” said Fujimoto. “The reliability and durability of our compressed air solutions have always been the foundation of our work, and we’ll continue to push innovation forward while staying focused on what matters most – our customers.”

Over the past four years, Randall played a large role in modernizing Hitachi's manufacturing abilities. Randall will relocate in the coming months as well, going to Tokyo to handle the HIES group.

“The past four years at Hitachi Global Air Power have been an incredibly rewarding experience,” said Randall. “I’ve had the privilege of working alongside a talented and dedicated team and together, we’ve made great strides in transforming the business. I look forward to supporting the company’s continued growth and seeing all the great things ahead.”
