Atlas Copco Construction Equipment North America Appoints Vice President – Region Canada

Mike Marion will lead Canadian sales and marketing efforts for products in the newly named Atlas Copco Power Technique business area

Atlas Copco Construction Equipment North America has appointed Mike Marion Vice President – Region Canada. Marion will lead Canadian sales and marketing efforts for products in the newly named Atlas Copco Power Technique business area.

Announced in July, the Atlas Copco Power Technique business area serves a range of customer segments including construction, manufacturing, mining, oil and gas, and  emergency relief among others. In addition to the core portfolio of construction products, the Power Technique  business area provides products and custom solutions through a network of direct sales, authorized dealers, rental yards, and manufacturer representatives.

Marion brings to his new role more than 20 years of industry experience. Before coming to Atlas Copco, the licensed heavy equipment mechanic worked in product management, sales and service roles for Volvo Construction Equipment in Canada. He joined Atlas Copco Construction Equipment Canada in 2011 as Product and Business Development Manager – Air Compressors and Generators and was promoted to National Business Development Manager – Power Generation in 2014. For the past two years, Marion served as Vice President and Business Line Manager – Construction Tools Division.

Marion has expertise in the core products of the Atlas Copco Power Technique business area. These on-site air, power and flow solutions include: portable compressors, generators, light towers and pumps along with handheld pneumatic, electric and hydraulic construction tools and compaction and concrete products. Bilingual and fluent in English and French, Marion is based in the Toronto suburb of Mississauga.
