Cementex has released the MRT-18-LED, a rechargeable LED light magnetic retrieving tool. This tool supports electric safety work practices by illuminating the exact location of a lost screw, nut or tool that might have fallen inside a panel.
It eliminates the need for professionals to carry a light on their heads, in their mouths or in their hands.
The MRT-18-LED features an 18-in. flexible shaft that combines a magnetized tip with a rechargeable LED light at the tip. The product is rated for 1,000V AC/1,500V DC. This flexibility combined with its rating allows the product to be used in a range of projects that require safety measures.
The light provides a balanced beam with a five-sided glowing CSP LED that twists off and on. It also offers a range of brightness levels that can be calibrated to fit the needs of a specific project. Its maximum output is 150 lumens, which runs for 15 minutes before falling to 50% of charge, while its minimum output is five lumens, which runs for six hours before dropping to 50% of charge.
The product’s insulation cap and magnetic tip are removable to allow a full recharge in 75 minutes via a micro-USB charger port.
