The FAYAT Group has announced it has signed an agreement for the acquisition of the MECALAC Group by the FAYAT Group.
The transaction is subject to regulatory approval by the relevant competition authorities and is expected to be completed by the end of the first half of 2025.
Mecalac is a manufacturer of compact construction equipment for urban environments, including a range of excavators, loaders, backhoe loaders, dumpers and compactors, as well as electric solutions to meet environmental challenges. Present in over 85 countries, the Mecalac Group's has six subsidiaries around the world and offers local support and services tailored to the needs of its customers.
In the meantime, the MECALAC Group continues to operate as usual, and remains committed to supporting its customers and partners around the world.
Once the transaction is finalized, both groups will work to ensure a seamless transition and make this acquisition a complete success.
