The Trimble CCS900 Compaction Control System is a satellite-based positioning solution offering contractors the ability to compact surface material to a target density and check finished grade accuracy in the same process.
- Using advanced Trimble satellite-based positioning sensors and powerful on-machine software, CCS900 is designed for soil and sub-surface material compaction as well as asphalt compaction
- CCS900 provides continuous compaction control for contractors who require advanced compaction measurement capability, display and mapping of compaction measurements in real time, and on-machine documentation of compaction results
- For contractors with multiple compaction machines, CCS900 also includes wireless data share—machine-to-machine communication that gives operators the ability to share mapping data between compactors on the same site in real-time. The machines communicate using a Wi-Fi network
- Wireless data share allows each compactor to see the work being done by other compactors in real-time, so operators know which areas have been compacted and which areas still need to be completed
