Contractor Makes Concrete Convenient for Customers
Bruce Neal, founder and president of Modern Foundations, built a well-diversified business around the concrete foundations market. His philosophy on expanded services allows him to offer efficiencies to his customers while increasing his company’s gross sales on each job. This philosophy also led him to help his sons branch off into their own niches in the concrete market — ready-mix concrete and stone placement. Although the three companies are independent, Bruce has found scheduling conveniences and his sons’ expertise in their markets have helped Modern Foundations better serve his customers in good economies and bad, and especially as his company looks to further expansion into energy efficient building.
