Throttle lock
The engine's RPM can be set to a constant speed for faster cycle times, while the auto-deceleration feature lowers the engine to low idle when an operator command is not sensed, which can help reduce fuel consumption.
Smooth approaches
The modulation clutch controls the tractive effort with the left brake pedal from 100% to 20% of available rimpull output, enabling smooth approaches and speed reduction when loading haul trucks.
